Io Moth on front steps

This is just an Io moth (at least, I think it's an Io moth) that was sitting on our front steps. My mom decided to catch it in a jar and show it to our cat. Unfortunately, it got out. As a result, it was flying around the windows in the living room. Snowball went ballistic. She kept watching it, even after we got it back in the jar five minutes later. At one point she tried to claw it while it was inside the jar. My mom then let it go outside.
